waking dreamer: closer to the nocturne than most, you suffer from waking dreams and ticklings upon your hindbrain. a listener to the wakes of the conscious unconscious. nothing is guaranteed, but anything is possible, you will be privy to whispers faraway, and stirrings of the world; but what is prophecy and what is nightmare?
physician: you're a master of medicine, whether in a controlled environment or in the field. it only takes you one action to attempt to stabilize a target in bleedout, and once per turn you can attempt to stabilize yourself as a free action. additionally, all healing checks or checks to diagnose a target are rolled with an added +2 modifier.
▍ ❝ CELESTIAL BRUSH.
the caster's keen eye for astronomy briefly shares its secret with others looking to the heavens. after selecting a constellation or specific celestial body the caster knows by name, the chosen target becomes highlighted at the caster's discretion (changing color, increasing perceived brightness, showing through clouds, etc). if an entire constellation is illuminated, the symbol it represents (e.g. a griffon) can be colored in with simple illusory details overlaying the stars that comprise it. the effect is visible to all within yell range of the caster, and lasts up to a single night.
method: looking up to the night sky and tracing the index finger around a celestial body.

▍ ❝ MIND'S EYE.
an equivalent exchange takes place in the target's mind, like a priceless treasure swapped for a weighted bag of sand. they are filled with eldritch visions in their mind's eye, both confusing and frightening them. in exchange, the caster isolates and learns a single fear of their target-knowing what, but not why. the process is unpleasant for the target, as if icy fingers were prodding through their very brain. the effects can be resisted with a successful har: belief check, while on a mixed success no fear is learned.
method: maintaining physical contact on someone while closing one's physical eyes to open the eye within.

the caster's zodiac manifests somewhere on their person, permitting them to use it in the absence of a focus. this lasts for a day, provides dim light within melee distance, and may be dismissed at any time.

in a blink, the caster quickly teleports to an unoccupied position within skirmishing distance of their spellcast. either a flash of light or a skirt of shadow remarks where they were in the slightest afterimage.

▍ ❝ SKYVEIL.
the caster is able to create a window to the sky on any ceiling surface by tracing its outline, up to 10x10m (10x10 blocks) in size. the surface becomes a clear window to the sky, allowing sight of the sun, stars, and moon. clouds, fog, and any other obscuring conditions may be bypassed to caster discretion. this effect lasts up to a day, fading sooner at the caster's discretion.
method: trailing an outline with a focus to form the shape.

the caster is able to call on the light of the stars, conjuring a source of light that hovers near them. it gives off an ambient glow equivalent to daylight within skirmishing distance, and further illuminates up to ranged distance to dim level. the light can be used underwater and lasts until the end of the day.
method: does not require a focus. holding out your hand with your palm up.

rays of bright light or absolute dark shoot out of the caster's focus, striking a number of unique targets in skirmishing distance for 2 ap damage. the number of targets is equal to 3 plus the caster's har: arcana. this attack cannot be blocked, evaded, or resisted by a roll.
method: channeling into focus, drawing upon light or absence of it.

▍ ❝ RESTLESS HEX.
the caster crafts a curse that lingers in the target's mind, haunting their dreams. the target's sleep will be invaded by vivid nightmares that prevent them from getting any truly restorative rest. for the duration of this curse, the target's energy and alertness suffer from these sleepless nights and take a -1 penalty to all str: fortitude and str: athletics checks starting the day after the initial cast. this lasts for up to one week, so long as the caster recasts each day.
method: as part of speech, a verbal curse or malediction directed at the target able to hear it.

the caster performs rapid repairs to the target's body during the throes of combat, fusing wounds, joining bones or redirecting the flow of blood with nothing but bare hands to keep them going. stabilise a critical target and instantly heal them for 1d4 + har: arcana hp. At the end of combat, the target loses the hp gained (but will not fall below 1 hp total).

sometimes referred to as 'taking hold of the strands of magic's weave' among eccentric casters. with unparalleled attunement to raw magical forces, the caster taps into the strands of magic that compose the spells of another. when a spell is cast within ranged distance, they may immediately use this spell to either counter it-treating the triggering spell as if it had miscast-or redirect it to another target within ranged distance of themself. self-targeted spells that are redirected treat the new target as the caster.this spell fails if the casting check is lower than that of the triggering spell.
